All Codex articles labeled WPMU need to be changed to WPMS for the name change from WordPress Multiuser to WordPress Multisite.
They also need to be changed from [[Category:WPMU]] to [[Category:WPMS]]
Are they all a 1:1 translation? Things like shared categories etc are no longer a feature.
Started on this, including creating the WPMS Category page – http://codex.wordpress.org/Category:WPMS
How do I change page names, though, so there aren’t red links everywhere when I change the content inside the page (as Andrea suggested)? e.g. WPMU Forums -> WPMS Forums
I found it 🙂
Note that all of the pages in the ‘WPMU Functions’ category are deprecated – as explained here: http://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference#Multisite_functions
So they probably shouldn’t be changed?
Ah, catching up with you.
Glad you found where to change the page names so they aren’t red.
Deprecated function notifications should not be changed if they are marked as such, but they still should be categorized appropriately.
Having any trouble finding all the WPMU pages for categorizing? Thank you so much. This helps a ton!
The following are notes and discussions on adding and changing how the WordPress version pages are displayed. Currently, there are a lot of blanks on the http://codex.wordpress.org/WordPress_Versions page.
Also, remember to put the following category on all Version pages. [[Category:Versions]]
YEAH: David Ransier stepped up and cleaned up ALL the blank pages on the WordPress Versions Page during our WordPress Codex BBQ party! YAHOO!
Pls create a new page that references Version 0.71. Here are the important links you need to know:
http://wordpress.org/download/release-archive/ (This is where the release download lives)
http://codex.wordpress.org/Changelog/0.71 (This is the change-log doc)
Nag and reminder: https://wpdocsteam.wordpress.com/2011/05/04/updating-the-wordpress-loop/ is still needing updating desperately to meet new standards and structures.
Every article on the WordPress Codex must:
The TOC Sherlock Holmes Project is a detective project for the WP Docs Team to hunt down articles not featured on the Codex Table of Contents Pages. They are:

Sorry I didn’t get any further after Tuesday night, but up until that point, I got as far as “Appearance Theme Options Screen”. The first block needs to be added to the TOC. The second block was questions/problems, etc. E-mail me if you have any questions about the list.

Within the comments below are a list of WordPress Codex articles needing attention or creation. These were generated by the WordPress Meetup Group of Portland, Oregon, as part of their project to give back to WordPress.
PDXWP, please describe the actions needed on the article and provide a link, or describe what the article requested needs to cover. Thank you again for your generosity and excellent work.
Candidate for deletion: http://codex.wordpress.org/Visualsaurus
Candidate for deletion: http://codex.wordpress.org/codex_syntax_highlighting_test
possible junk page: http://codex.wordpress.org/Main_Page/box-header
Broken, needs to be fixed: http://codex.wordpress.org/Codex_Copyright_Holders
Need to verify that the language on this page is still valid. Also the statistics cited are quite old and out of date. http://codex.wordpress.org/Fundraising_and_Promotions/Statements
Determine if this page still needs to exist. http://codex.wordpress.org/Responsibilities/Translations
Old, should be deleted. http://codex.wordpress.org/Project_Ideas
Kill it with fire: http://codex.wordpress.org/Zoezane
delete this dead end page? http://codex.wordpress.org/Introduction_to_Wordpress
Page doesn’t exist:
http://codex.wordpress.org/index.php?title=Function_Reference/calendar_week_mod
http://codex.wordpress.org/index.php?title=Function_Reference/delete_get_calendar_cache
http://codex.wordpress.org/index.php?title=Function_Reference/allowed_tags
http://codex.wordpress.org/index.php?title=Function_Reference/wp_ajaxurl
Candidate for deletion http://codex.wordpress.org/Wexford/admin
Candidate for deletion: http://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/addLoadEvent. Article has nothing to do with WordPress.
Has a lot of needed pages linking from here and is probably incomplete in and of itself
http://codex.wordpress.org/Plugin_API/Filter_Reference
http://codex.wordpress.org/Plugin_API/Action_Reference
How much (if any) information from older versions of WP are we keeping around? http://codex.wordpress.org/Plugin_API/Hooks_2.0.x
This is a moot article with current versions of WordPres and it’s pretty much the wrong way. I’d suggest outright deletion to avoid confusion, otherwise it’s just an example of a page-template. http://codex.wordpress.org/Creating_an_Archive_Index
Old archive. Do we need? http://codex.wordpress.org/Current_events_archive
The manage files sub-panel doesn’t exist anymore thus the information in this article is well out of date. I’d say it gets deleted and appropriate incoming links be redirected to the appearance->editor sub panel
http://codex.wordpress.org/Manage_Files_SubPanel
Suggestion for deletion http://codex.wordpress.org/WordPress_for_Non-Developers Is this necessary?
Among the WTF Pages:
http://codex.wordpress.org/WordPress_Responsibilities
http://codex.wordpress.org/Testing
http://codex.wordpress.org/Plugin_API/Filter_Reference/terms_to_edit there is NO article here
And most of them need the information contained within to change as well.
