    Article Update Wanted: Plugin Resources

The Plugin Resources page in the Codex is getting a little long in the tooth and needs updating. It needs internal as well as external references and resources to help someone write, edit, and develop WordPress Plugins.

Pages Wanted: Articles Needed by Demand

The Wanted Pages listing on the WordPress Codex http://codex.wordpress.org/Special:WantedPages is a listing of links created on other articles but no page exists. It goes to a blank edit page on the Codex, begging for information.

Sometimes these are created incorrectly, a misspelling in the text or link, so the link needs to be fixed so the user will land on the right referring article.

Sometimes these are pages that shouldn’t exist but at the time, the author thought it was a good idea or they would get to it later but found it lacked a need, and they forgot to remove the link.

Sometimes these are pages desperately needed on the Codex. Thus, these become wanted articles, a form of to do list on the Codex.

Use your best judgement when going through the list of Wanted Pages on the Codex and help us clean up this list.

    Remove the I Statements

    EASY

The WordPress Codex is about “you” not the “I.” The articles within it are not about how “I” did it, but how “you” can do it. We need folks to go through every article on the Codex and rephrase all “I” statements with “you” statements. Thanks!
