Database Search and Replace Help
Article Wanted
We need an article that addresses some of the problems and issues that would make someone want to get into their WordPress database. These might include global search and replace of text (example: web page name or address change), modifying or deleting tables or information…etc. NOT major changes, just things that answer a lot of the questions found here: http://wordpress.org/tags/mysql and Find, Search, Replace, and Delete In A WordPress Database.

Hi Lorelle,
Would a guide to installing and using phpMyAdmin be any good? Or perhaps an article detailing the database structure of WP? The latter may require quite a bit of work but would be useful.

A guide for installing phpMyAdmin is beyond the scope of the WordPress Codex.
http://codex.wordpress.org/Database_Description is the basic guide to the WordPress database and there might be others but this probably needs updating.
